Repair
After some time tile roofs can need re-pointing. Pointing is the mix that holds the hip and ridge tiles in place. This is often cracked and in some cases missing entirely.
Most of the pointing that is in need of repair was done in just sand and cement coloured with oxide. The old sand and cement mix was brittle and would not expand and contract with the roof as it heats up and cools down.
In this case we repair or replace broken tiles, moss kill, pressure wash area to be restored, repair bedding as needed and re-point with Selleys Pointworks coloured to suit.
Corrugated iron and colour steel roofs can need rust removal, patching or replacing and replacing loose or missing nails with sealed tech-screws.
